Wild Turkey Photos
Wild turkey photos can be obtained from a website of a breeder, along with pictures of little chicks.
Birds of this species breed easily in captivity; even a novice owner can breed them. Breeding birds need special diet, with enough vitamins and calcium; seed diet is not a good idea, because it contains much fat. Experienced aviculturists create new bloodlines and color varieties of these birds. These birds should be kept in flocks and every female should be given place to build a nest.

breeder, pictures
These birds are diurnal; they graze in the morning and in the afternoon and spend the night in trees. They ôêó wary and have a keen eyesight and hearing, which allows them to avoid encounters with humans. Males attempting to attract females in early spring are a wonderful sight, but they are difficult to observe. In their natural habitats, these birds are normally non-migratory, but some population migrate southwards in winter and stay there for mating. The hens make their nests in the tall grass or in dense woods where they are difficult to spot. Domestic species are heavy and unable to fly, but their ancestors are swift runners and fast fliers. They are reported to reach the speed of 88 km per hour. Wild turkey photos can be obtained from a website of a breeder, along with pictures of little chicks.
