Turkey Wild
A turkey wild looks nice in the picture, but pictures are often misleading.
Being very sociable, these creatures should not be kept alone. Company and human attention are very important for these birds; they are reported to form close bonds with the owner, if allowed to accompany him/her in the yard. It is better to keep a flock of these birds to have enough eggs and meat. Breeding these creatures is not very difficult, as they are not picky and bond with any mate. Males and females of this species differ much. Males are often kept for decorative purposes.

Turkey Wild -
picture, pictures
Females of this species prepare the nest, incubate the eggs, and care for the young alone; males don’t provide any parental care for the young, but protect the harem from other males. The chicks are able to feed within 24 hours of hatching. They reach sexual maturity at the age of 10 months, but they remain with the mother for more than a year. Young males have no separate home ranges, so they find it difficult to attract females. These birds are easy to keep and breed in captivity. The species is known for its large size and high reproductive rate. It is enough to keep a single male and several females. A turkey wild looks nice in the picture, but pictures are often misleading.
